I want to encourage you to get involved in Halloween this year.
No, I'm not weighing in on the Halloween debate that goes on, I just can't pass up the opportunity of a steady stream of kids looking for open doors.
I mean, can you?

I couldn't agree with you more. My question is, why are Christians so afraid of Halloween? I like you see it as an opportunity to share the love of Jesus to others. Thanks for the links you gave.
Thanks, Heidi, for the links! This is our first year in public school, so we've had way more Halloween than I appreciate! But I am so with you --- Even though I can't stand the holiday, I can't imagine keeping my doors closed when every kid in the neighborhood comes knocking.
I miss you...I would be begging for a list of needs at this time but you are stateside.
