God and Sex

Sex is not a bad word. (Neither is God, so stop using it as one.)

I’m sick of a pagan culture using one of God’s gifts- sex- to entrap, enslave, and exploit God’s people. I’m sick of God’s people letting them.

I’m sick of cowering in fear when it comes to addressing this topic passionately and biblically. Why should we be afraid of upsetting the pious few...those who taut they hold to the right way when it comes to sex and indeed I do not question their orthodoxy, but who are too good to share it in any meaningful way with others?

Meanwhile, the CDC says that as many as one in three females experience sexual abuse in their lifetimes. We, Christian women, suffer the consequences of that abuse. So do our marriage beds.

I'm stating the obvious here, ladies.

I admire your strength in covering this topic! Most feel it's taboo, but when approached in the right ways, it's not.

Best to you, Heidi. xo

I'll have to hand it to you for jumping right back in with both feet!

Sex is such a playground for the enemy--you are so, so right. And I think there are so many "happily-married" women who just don't realize this.

Thanks for bringing this into the light.
