Home and Getting "Normal"

Just popping in to say thank you SO much for the prayers! We made it back and are trying our best to find a new normal :)

We will be based in Tennessee for our stateside (hope to meet some of you in person). John will be doing a PhD program while we are here, for those of you who asked. I hope to be back to posting soon :)

I just wrote on someone else's blog about my looking for a "new normal." Apparently, we're living a similar life, just different skin!

Love you.

So glad you made it safe and sound. I'll be praying for you to find that normal soon. :) I hope you will find time to relax and unwind in the midst of the adjustments.

Tennessee isn't too far from Idaho -- is it? Hey, we could call each other!

I've thought of you often and missed your "voice" on your blog. I hope you are all doing well.

So glad to hear you are all doing ok! I have been thinking about you and wondering how it is going. Can't be easy to relocate with small children halfway around the world.

Tennessee is only a couple hours from where I live in Illinois--must be a huge change from China!

Will continue praying as we know furloughs are often exhausting in their own special way :D

Praying...
- for plenty of time with your stateside family and friends
- for safety in all the miles you'll be traveling
- for flexibility on the part of everyone as the new "normal" won't really be normal at all
- for some R&R along the way, as needed, to keep you chugging along
- for special blessings that you won't even think about until God just plops them in your lap

Glad to hear from you. Enjoy your time in the US. Wish you were a little closer, but hey there is always the 'net.

So how does it feel to be back in the states?

Oh my...I've been off the grid for a while. Didn't know you were coming back to the states! Hope your transition has been good. All is well here...just exceptionally busy and not on the computer nearly as much as I was when I was in adoption paperchase and waiting mode. Maybe we can get together....we're in KY, so wherever you are in TN, it can't be terribly far away!

What part of Tennessee? We are only a couple hours from Memphis...

I hope you guys get settled in well and quickly!

Hey there, it has been a looonnnngggg time for me. I think I am pretty much done with blogging but I still get your updates through mail. I am in North Alabama, where are you in TN? We are planning a trip to Nashville pretty soon? Are you close there?
